Eh, I fucked up bad. I find 30 days bullshit, seeing as it was completely stupid to just extend my ban, but I did post 50 times that day.

As for the activity, I'm starting to try. All is becoming well. I hope the chat gets more active, though.

I hardly ever get banned and if I do, it's a destroy ban. I think the last time I got banned for anything but posting in a spam thread was the 2008 BBS nominations when I posted someone else's nominations (I didn't claim them to be my own. I said at the top of the post "these nominations are for [user] who's currently banned"). And that was a reasonable ban. It was only two days and it was explained well enough to me in a PM. Though, users like me who have good reputations (at least from a mod's point of view) get far less severe punishments than those that are known for being subpar posters. I'm not necessarily saying that HCC is subpar, but in relation to other posters, I've probably inadvertantly gotten on the good side of some of the mods. I don't suck modcock, I just hardly ever break rules and I almost always try to be constructive.

Anyways, I've learned not to trust anyone's stories if I haven't seen the offense first hand. I don't like to take anyone's word for it (mod or user) unless I have both sides of the story and even then, well, you know how things go. Both sides are biased, et al. I'm not saying that it's impossible that an abuse occurred, I just don't like automatically passing judgments.
