| The new album is kind of whack, to be honest. I am a way bigger fan of Encore and even his single When I'm Gone is way better than anything on this album.
Maybe it's just me, but I just find the new album boring...no solid beats, no kicking lyrics. *shrug* |

| I felt that while this album was definetely a step up from Encore, it just felt very forced and didn't have the grasp the other albums had. Maybe my tastes are just changing but when the slim shady lp came out I listened to that cd every chance I could get and the same with the marshal mathers lp and while not as much the eminem show. But while relapse is catchy and all, the lyrical mastermind that caught my attention is gone and now he is just trying to use an old formula that just doesn't work in the same way it once did. It's not a bad album but I listened to it once and had no desire to hit replay. |
