I'm so upset that my new mac can't play my favorite PC games. :(

The only counter-argument is the price for current PCs and probably the innumerable fuck-ups you can get if your PC's got issues with the graphics/speed of the game.

But this is mainly because I spent like $900 building my current computer.

The more money you dish out to play, the more quality and fun you'll get in return.

I like my sexbox, but I haven't had the money or opportunity to build a computer yet. I've started, but I'm not near finished.

with a $75 upgrade a PC can blow the PS3 and the XB360 out on graphics, of course that's an example... you cant simply "upgrade" the PS2 or the original XB... whereas a PC can be upgraded with a lot less $ than a new console... so PCs win

I don't know about you guys, but PC games here are twice as cheap than console games . So if you buy lots of games it's more worth it to buy a PC.

I prefer console gaming because it's a lot more simple. I can just buy a game and pop it in with no worries of my console being unable to handle it. Plus all my friends play on consoles so we can all chat.

People who think console gaming is better deserve to have their heads beat in with a DVD-drive. The computer sitting on my desk right now is $350 in parts, and plays Crysis on medium.

also, you could always buy the wireless controllers and a sensor receiver (at least with the XB360) and you technically could play games with those controllers on a computer...
something that's great for FPS type of games.

PC is great.

I bought Star Wars Battlefront 2 new for PC for $20 (this is 2005 of course). It was $40 used on Xbox.

I prefer the PC strictly cause I can do more on it than I can on a console.

PCs are better if you're a hardcore gamer, but if you're like me, and get a new game maybe once a month and play for a few weeks, it's much more worth your money to just get a console. I like my 360, though I do miss all my old PC games.
